    None of these – I'd go for Cliff Buxton (Sam Neill) in The Dish. Funny, understated, and even though you knew the story (or thought you did..) thrilling. Neill is excellent

    My choice would be either Mr Spock, several StarTrek films or Admiral Katherine Janeway, quote “Who wants to scrabble around in the dirt when you can study quantum mechanics?”

    p.s.: i know u said “films” but isn’t the “rationale of such designation of motion pictures” is infinitesimal compared to the his utter awesomeness…………:p
