New lecture: Mechanics in Sport lectures events  Chris Hughes, Senior Lecturer in Biomechanics, Worcester University will talk about understanding the physics and mechanics behind what athletes do, how they do it and what limits their abilities is critical.

The talk will look at why long jumpers don’t jump, what limits the marathon world record and why bigger is not better on a bike.
