SciCast film competition – here are this year’s nominations

The nominations for the 2011 SciCast Awards have now been announced. The competition awards the best mini movie of a science demonstration in various categories, one of which – physics – is sponsored by the Institute of Physics. Have a look at this year’s nominations, as always there are some brilliant mini films. The winners will be announced in the next few weeks.
