Electron tweezers reveal their pluck

A new study, published in the journal Ultramicroscopy, has revealed that beams of electrons can pick up and move tiny objects, just like optical tweezers that manipulate items using light. The new tweezers have a resolution 1000 times higher than optical techniques.
