Nasa is “over-ambitious”

Further doubt has been cast over the possibility manned spaceflight to the Moon or Mars by Nasa after a report drawn up by the Review of US Human Space Flight Plans Committee, an independent panel appointed by President Obama to conduct a top-to-toe study of America’s space programme, confirmed critics’ worries that Nasa needs an extra $3 billion a year to meet its current goals.
